Mabou Ceilidh, Cape Breton
Keith Rowell participates in a Ceilidh (Kay-lee) at the historic society in Mabou, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. 2010 Yes the guitar is out of tune, the party was nearly over before I got this borrowed, nylon string guitar to behave. But thanks be to James Ennis and Shawn Crockard who loaned me the steel string guitar and case. I managed to get some tunes in before the night was over.
The rocky shore is at White Point in Cape Breton at a place called "the two tittles". See the entire photo set from Nova Scotia here full screen slideshow
Ceilidh (Kay-lee) is the Scottish word for a kitchen party with dancing music and story telling.
